Description
The surface of the plant’s globe-shaped body is densely covered in fine, long, and curled white hairs. Emerging from the areoles and layering over one another, this fuzz almost entirely conceals the green skin and sharp spines beneath, giving it a soft, fluffy appearance reminiscent of a head of silver hair. This unique hairy texture is not only its most charming feature but also serves to reflect intense light and protect the plant. Perfectly symmetrical and well-proportioned, the plant boasts a robust root system and is housed in a standard pot. It is beloved for an adorable appearance that defies the traditional image of cacti; the soft fuzz provides a cushion that makes it less likely to prick your fingers upon touch (though one must still be mindful of the sharp spines hidden within). Whether placed on a windowsill, desk, or living room sideboard, its endearing look is sure to bring a smile to your face, adding a touch of warmth and playful charm to your living space.
